Happy Mother's Day

Actually, I think that it shouldn't be just that one day to say "Thank you" to your mum's, right?! But since my mum doesn't live around the corner and I don't have the chance to spend so much time with her, I take the chance to say "Thank you" here on my little blog. But of course, I already called her, too! 

Hope you all have such a wonderful mum and let her know!

Fashion movies by Karl Lagerfeld "Once upon a time" with Keira Knightley

That Karl Lagerfeld is a master of mise-en-scéne is well-known for all of us. Not least, because of his lavish staged shows in Paris each year which often appear like a dramatic plays and are more then just a fashion show. 

By this time, I always wait for his new muse to be named and surprisingly he choose Keira Knightley. (I don't know if this is really surprising?! Maybe not, but I didn't had Keira on the radar since I'm not her biggest fan...til now.) 

She plays Coco Chanel in the new short movie "Once upon a time" that screens the opening of Gabrielle's first store in France in 1913.

This is one of the most loveliest movies I have ever seen. It's gorgeous. Keira Knightley looks brilliant as Coco and I think, all other actresses/ models are perfect! Stella Tennent is just great and I adore Lindsey Wixson's dress. Doesn't she look amazing?!

OOTD/ Outfit and work-intensive week

I'm still alive :-). I'm very sorry for writing so less during the last weeks. That wasn't the plan, but I had to prioritize some other stuff lately. Hope you are not angry with me?! Actually, I wanted to post last week, but the work was a lot more intensive then I thought and my eyes closed as soon as I put my feet up in the evening. 

We spent some days in Berlin and built a new pond! Yes, a real pond with fish and a course of a stream and all bells and whistles. What a week, but it was worth it. It's really beautiful now and we even had the chance to enjoy our Sunday morning breakfast right next to the pond.

So, you can imagine how my outfits during the last days looked like...old jeans or sweatpants and shirt, barefoot and that's it. No photos necessary :-). 

We just took a quick shot on Sunday before we left...again a very comfy, easy and nothin' fancy outfit.

Favorite spring trend: Asian prints & cuts

There are a lot of spring trends this year - from stripes, pastel colors, dungarees, flowers (as always) etc. But my absolute favorite is the Asian trend. It doesn't matter if it's an Asian print or cut. Currently, you can find it everywhere and I really love it. 

A bomber jacket, e.g. with colorful flowers and/ or dragons will light up even the most boring office outfit.

She is back! The lovely sun. What a beautiful Sunday! To charge our batteries we spend the whole afternoon in the park and just enjoyed the sun. Heaven! And of course, I jumped at the chance to do an outfit post again after months without. Well, nothing fancy...

The best things come in threes: White leather & stripes & fringes

Strolling through Cologne the week before last, I saw this shirt from Bershka. At first, I just saw the white leather front which I really liked. Watching a little closer and turning...I saw that the back is striped in fringes and I thought...wow, three things at one time! Great!

HAPPY EASTER!

Hi all,

I wish you all HAPPY EASTER holidays! I hope you could spend some days relaxing with your family and friends.

I'm staying in Berlin currently and it feels more like Christmas than Easter, because of all the snow here. We are watching Rudolph, the reindeer instead of the Easter bunnies behind the house :-). Honestly!
